Kepek az elmult par honaprol --------- Here are some pictures of our last few months

Bocsanat, hogy ilyen sokaig nem ujitottam fel ezt az oldalt, bar karacsony tajan es az uj ev kezdeten kinek van ideje arra a sok vasarlas, fozes-sutes, takaritas stb mellett, hogy a szamitogepen toltse el az orakat.

A karacsonyunk nagyon jol sikerult, a gyerkocok nagyon nagyon orultek a karacsonyfanak, es az ajandekoknak. Szerencsesen megerkezett minden magyar foldrol nekunk kuldott kis csomag, amelyek a legszebb es legfinomabb meglepiket rejtettek magukban. :)

Probaltam a csemeteimrol egy ket kepet kesziteni az unnepek alatt. Olyan kepeket, amelyeken mind a ketten rajta vannak. Ez a feladat egyszerunek tunhet, pedig nem az. Egyszer Izsi csukta be a szemet, majd Lilla fintorgott vagy fordult el, utana Izsi ficankolt......... Hala annak a fantasztikus embernek aki feltalalta a digitalis fenykepezogepet!!!!!! Kisfiam megtanult a fenykepezogep kedveert mosolyogni, amely soran a leheto legnagyobb vigyort produkalja, ezt ket kepen meg is szemlelhetitek. Lilla mosoly helyett grimaszokat vag, vagy arra ker meg engem, hogy fenykepezzem le a nyelvet es hatalmasra tatja a szajat. :)

Getting ready for Halloween ~~~~~~~ Halloweenra keszulodve

These are our pre-Halloween pictures. We had a Family Home Evening at our friends house and carved pumpkins. Jay played with the kids, so I did the work. (That's not entirely true, I enjoyed carving the pumpkin and Jay did the work : played with Lilla and Izsak.)

Lilla has been playing with her bucket for weeks now. One night she asked for choccolate milk and showed up at the table as bucket head, drank her milk and left.

Izsak follows me everywhere. In the bathroom while I put make up on he watches me. We were getting ready to go out, so I quickly got ready and picked out some clothes for Izsak, when he ran by me smiling. Oh boy! He took advantage of me forgetting to put my mascara away. Here are the end results of him playing with it.

Halloweenra keszulodve egyik este sutotokot faragtunk a baratainknal. Jay jatszott a gyerkocokkel en meg alkottam. A vegeredmeny szerintem nagyon jo lett.

Lilla imadja a Halloweenos vodret. Egyik este a fejere huzta es ugy jarkalt. Elneveztuk vodorfejnek. Kert a kiscsillagom csokis tejet, odajott vodrostul az asztalhoz, leult, megitta a tejet es mar futott is jatszani. :)

Izsi, a kis dragam lepest tart Lillaval rendesen es most mar o is bajba tudja keverni magat. Egyik nap elfelejtettem eltenni a szempilla festekemet, amit kisfiam ki is hasznalt. Letekerte a tetejet es alkotott. A kepek magukert beszelnek.

Lilla 3 eves -------------- Lilla is 3 years old

Kicsit megkesve ugyan megunnepeltuk Lilla 3. szulinapjat. A buli nagyon jol sikerult, sokan eljottek, Lilla imadott minden percet!

We had a blast at Lilla's Birthday Party! Our little house was full, and Lilla enjoyed every single minute of it!

Egyik nap arra lettem figyelmes, hogy Lilla elkezdett sirni. Minden jo anyuka kulonbseget tud tenni a kulonbozo sirasok kozott. Pl. van a fajdalmas siras, az ijedt siras, nyafogos, elkenyeztetett, almos, ...... es meg sorolhatnam. Nos Lilla sirasa nem utalt nagy bajra igy lassan indultam el a megkeresesere. Kicsi viragomat ott leltem a nappali kozepen teljesen beszorulva a krumplifejes vodorbe. Jaj, hogy lehet ilyenkor visszafolytani a nevetest? Sehogy, igy fenykepezogepet kaptam a kezembe es megorokitettem a pillanatot.

Mindenki jol van nalunk. Az osz mar javaban tombol es a fakrol mar lehullottak a levelek. Nem szivesen nezek a nagy hideg elebe. Lilla es Izsi gyorsan nonek, Lilla sokat magyaraz, angolul , de mindent megert magyarul. Probalok hozzajuk mindig magyarul beszelni, hogy ertsek, sok magyar zenet hallgatunk es Lilla most mar egyre jobban elvezi a hosszu mesefilmeket. Kovetkezo magyaros korutankon ismet be kell vasarolni egy parat.

Izsakom edes mint a mez. A szemei egyszeruen elragadoak, sajnos azokat nem tolem, hanem Jaytol orokolte. Hosszu szempillak, csabos tekintet. Nemhiaba vett le ez a kanadai fiu a labamrol annak idejen.

Well, Lilla one day got stuck. Being a loving, devoted mother I had to take a picture before I saved her. How could I resist not capturing this moment. Jay's has a horrible memory, unfortunately one of my best friend from Hungary, Kriszti reminded me in the last month, that I also have a problem remembering things, so I have decided to take more pictures. At least they will tell the stories to our kids.

A KONYHA --------------- THE KITCHEN

El sem akarom hinni, hogy a ket eve elkezdett renovalas befejezodott es a regi csunya konyhambol gyonyoru konyha lett. Egyszeruen imadom az ujat! Jay kivett egy het szabadsagot , anyosom es Kelly sogornom pedig vigyaztak a gyerkocokre, hogy mi tudjunk a konyhaban dolgozni. Nagyon halas vagyok nekik, mert tudom hogy nem konnyu ket kisgyerkocre vigyazni.

Az elso munkanapunk azzal telt, hogy a regi konyha kredenceket vertuk szet. Nem mondta senki, hogy milyen szuper erzes a nagy kalapaccsal nekiesni teljes erovel a konyhabutornak. ! Be kell, hogy valljam elveztem nagyon.

A regi konyha megsemmisitese olyan jol ment, hogy meg aznap elkeztuk osszeszerelni az Ikeas elemeket, masnap felszereltuk oket a falra. Jay es en hihetetlenul ugyesek voltunk. Nemhiaba mentem hozza egy ezermesterhez!!! A napok gyorsan teltek, mi meg dolgoztunk es a het vegere keszen volt a konyha. A falra uj csempet kellett tenni, mert a regi meretei nem voltak jok, igy egy hettel kesobb elkezdtunk csempezni. A fugazas hihetetlenul egyszeru volt, a vegeredmeny meg magaert beszel!!! Imadom!!!!

Well, most of you saw my old and not so nice kitchen. I didn't like it at all. After 2 years of trying to make the old cupboards work we have given up and replaced it with new ones from IKEA. Jay took a whole week off from work, and my wonderful Mom-in-law and Kelly watched my kids so we could do the reno. I am very very thakful for them for this service, because we would not be able to finish it on time with the little ones running around and touching everything. Thank you!!!! Day one was demolition, I enjoyed it way too much. Our chineese neighbour was so suprised when saw Jay outside and heard the banging inside. Couldn't belive that I can hold a hammer and destroy things with it. LOL. I am so thankful for my handyman husband. He is amazing!!! We installed the cabinets in no time, he did the plumming and I was in charge of the doors and shelves. At the end of the week we were done.

Unfortunately, the backsplash needed a facelift as well, so we lerned how to do tileing. It's a piece of cake. I love the end results!!! It's beautiful.

Funny kids--------Vicces gyerekek

Hi!

When you are a stay at home mom, life evolves mostly around your children. They are the ones, you talk to, laugh at or with and they are the ones who keep you busy all day long. It's fun to snuggle with them and listen to them breathing. It's fun to try to cover up your smiley face and try to show some emphaty when your little boy's nicely rounded head gets somehow stuck in the back of the chair, or when a lillte sleeping angle ends up with a full sheet of Dora stickers on her tummy. Izsak thought knows Lilla loves Dora and Boots, so he spent 10 minutes very quitely sticking the stickers on her sister's tummy. What would we do without moments like these? Life just wouldn't be the same.

Thanks to wonderful Christa, our whole family looks great now. We all had our hair cut by her. She is so talented, I love my new hairstyle and dark rich color. She is the best!!!!! Izsak had his very first haircut, which he took quite well. At the end he got tired of sitting still, but thanks to Christas magical fingers and swiftness his haircut turned out awesome.

We almost finished our kitchen reno. The only part left is to grout the tiles. I love it so much, the extra cupboard space is just wonderful. I needed it soo bad! I love the handles and the doors. Thanks to Kelly's donation of white tiles, the backsplash turned out beautiful and way cheaper than expected, which is great when you already spent lots of money on the other parts. I didn't take any pictures yet, because the countertops are covered with plastic, and the small appliances aren't in their places yet. I only want to show the final result, so you can go : "aaaahhhhh". and "oooooooo" and "woooooow"........ :)

Mennyivel unalmasabb lenne az eletunk a gyermekeink altal teremtett vicces helyzetek nelkul, foleg akkor ha foallasu anyukak vagyunk es napjainkat a gyerkocokkel toltjuk reggeltol estig. Bevallom, orommel tolt el az a pillanat, amikor a nappaliba lepve meglatom kis alvo angyalkam hasat matricakkal befedve. Izsi tudja azt, hogy Lilla imadja a Dora nevu mesesorozatot, igy elhatarozta, hogy teleragasztgatja a novere hasat a Doras matricakkal. Mi anyukak nagyon nagyon tehetseges szinesznok vagyunk. Hogy miert? Senki sem tudja nalunk jobban palastolni a vigyort szimpatiaval ami akkor derul az arcunkon, amikor kis kerek feju gyermekunket beszorulva taljuk a szek hattamlajaba. O edes elet! Milyen szurke lenne gyerkocok nelkul.

Christanak koszonhetoen csaladunk mind a negy tagja uj friss frizuraval rendelkezik. Izsinek ez volt az elso hajvagasa, most mar teljesen kisfiusan nez ki, semmi kisbabas nincs benne. Sajnos a kis gondor furjeinek bucsut intettunk, de muszaly volt mert mar nagyon szenaboglyasan nezett ki a kisfiam feje teteje.

Lilla and Izsak are having fun! Lots of fun!

Here are my sweet little children! Lilla likes to dress up and I like to take pictures of her! Izsak is getting so big and he is trying his best to keep up with big sister Lilla, so he learned how to run! He is adorable!
